April K is a trans and non-binary music producer, label owner, and DJ based in Vancouver, Canada.

Having recently made their career transition, from a decade of success in software engineering, April blends technical expertise in software, sound, and recording with a personal mission to make authentic music, while sponsoring, empowering, and developing artists to their full potential.

April's own musical repertoire spans a wide range of early works from techno and house to downtempo vocals to feel-good sunset melodies. Although, April feels as though genres and categories are the least of concerns when working in the studio, since her priority is to always deliver excellent results rooted in collaboration.

Through her newly-formed independent record label, April's Creative Works (ACW), she hopes to support a community of musicians by offering recording sessions, community jams, and artist sponsorship opportunities.
